I seriously expected Jack to say, “You’re not Frank” when he walked out of the cockpit. I just can’t believe how different he looks! Anyone feel me on this?

We were watching Iron Chef (the original), and I decided Japanese TV is way better because of the drama level. Take this video for instance…

(please note, I’m aware I was laughing like a little girl in this video, but I couldn’t help it. I watched it about 20 times on the DVR before I recorded it with my video, and my cheeks hurt from laughing)

I am so happy that Top Chef has come to New York! So now after I watch the show I can go to all the same places they went to and pretend like I’m one of them.

See…here I am at Kalustyans. No big deal. It’s right around the corner from my apartment.

And here I am at Whole Foods…you know the one in Union Square? Not that many people know about it. It’s kind of a hidden secret.

And finally, my favorite…here I am hanging out at the Top Chef pad in Bushwick! Don’t you just love Bushwick?

On a serious note, it would be cool to hang out with Tom, wouldn’t it? Ah well, maybe one day. But would I give him a high five or a hug…? Something to think about until next week.
